Belle Isle is a Michigan state park on a 982-acre island in the Detroit River, just east of downtown Detroit. It includes the Belle Isle Aquarium, Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, the Belle Isle Nature Center, and miles of waterfront walking paths.
